China’s Biggest Prickly Pepper Trading Center Established

A strategic framework cooperation agreement was inked between TME and the government of Hanyuan county on 09 Dec 2015, with both parties pledging to take full advantages of their dominant position and priorities in boosting Internet plus Rural Agriculture Finance Model to a higher level in Hanyuan county, which is popular for prickly pepper since Chinese Tang dynasty, and establishing a prickly pepper trading center in Hanyuan county – Hanyuan Prickly Pepper Trading Center. On behalf of Hanyuan and TME respectively, Magistrate Yu Gangping and Chairman Liu Angsheng signed the agreement.

According to the agreement, the two sides will do their utmost effort to make Hanyuan Prickly Pepper Trading Center the largest trading platform of condiments and the related raw materials in China, and to promote the traditional small-scaled farmer economy into a senior organized agricultural production form by means of relying on OTC derivatives transaction function stemming from the trading center. In addition, TME will give Hanyuan Prickly Pepper Trading Center an important position in its strategic layout called One TME with Multi-Trading and One County One Platform, and meet the demand for the talents, technologies, and resources.

A signing ceremony of the Protocol on Establishment of Hanyuan Prickly Pepper Trading Center was held on the same day among the joint investors namely TME, Hanyuan State-owned Assets Management Group,and Hanyuan Yongfeng Foodstuffs Factory, it marked the formal establishment of the trading center, for which registered capital being RMB 50 million.
