Professor Liu Xiliang conducted research at Tianfu Mercantile Exchange

    On August 17, Professor Liu Xiliang, director of Chinese Finance Research Institute (CFRI), Professor Wang Qing, the deputy director of CFRI and their entourage during a research visit to the Tianfu Mercantile Exchange.

    Chairman Liu, Vice President Yang and Vice President Xue of TME met the guest. Both sides had an in-depth discussion on commodity electronic trading. Professor Liu Xiliang points out，multi-level regional commodity trading market promotes a better development of the regional economy.

    Both sides agreed to cooperate on the following topics: 1. Collaborative research overseas commodity trading market system and its significance to China; 2. Collaborative research multi-level structure and regulatory system of overseas regional commodities market; 3. Cooperative professional training. Professor Liu Xiliang also said he would promote the establishment of long-term strategic partnership between Southwestern University of Finance and Tianfu Mercantile Exchange.
