TME’s TTC for 5th China Global Wood Trade Conference

TME’s Timber Trading Center (hereinafter TTC) participated in the 5th China Global Wood Trade Conference held in Shanghai from 14-16 Sep 2015.
At the conference, TTC introduced the participants about function and core value of its platform, making presentations of the relevant business operations such as spot trading, forward selling, professional delivering, a tri-lingual trading system, namely Chinese, English，Russian, and its roles as trade agent, cargo agent, or financing agent, through which TTC could function through the whole industry chain. Besides, TTC also collected feedback and advice on functional requirements and suggestions against the spot trading platform from the participating customers, especially those from overseas.
With China Timber & Wood Products Distribution Association (CTWPTA) as sponsor, the Global Wood Trade Conference was founded in 2011. According to statistic data, present at the 5th Global Wood Trade Conference this time are China's large timber wood enterprises, including those engaged in the business of wholesale market, processing and demonstration area, major wood import port authorities, warehousing logistics, and shipping agencies. In addition, more than 70 global wood suppliers, traders, exporters, and agents from Russia, Canada, Sweden, Finland, the United States, Belarus, Zambia, Gabon, and as well chief representatives of the listed countries’ government agencies, trade promotion organizations, and associations.
Experts and representatives from a dozen of countries were invited to a summit forum at this conference to give their in-depth analysis not only on the prospect of wood market demand and supply facing China and other parts of the globe, but also on development of logistics system and e-commerce in this regard.
