Tianfu Mercantile Exchange (TME) is officially identified as an e-commerce model enterprise by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China, or MOFCOM as it often appears, after a range of strict reviews by the latter. Based on MOFCOM’s rigorous assessment criteria, previous notice in this regard and the related guidelines on what an e-commerce model enterprise should possess of, TME ultimately won the title of a national e-commerce model enterprise after going through strict assessment processes such as declaration, review, and public notice by MOFCOM.
TME has been making progress in mode innovation, business expansion, service capability, management skill, and technology application by means of adhering to a standardized management and incessant innovation since its foundation. Over three years of development, TME has continually enhanced its abilities of independent innovation in respect of e-commerce, market growth and resource integration, and as a result, received unanimous appreciation and recognition from top authorities and the peers.
Nevertheless, aimed at making a success of innovation and development of electronic commerce, TME will continue playing its role in a new-typed market between traditional wholesale market and futures one, and will do what it can to make TME a trading platform of bulk commodity and a settlement platform of OTC derivatives, and to promote the development of real economy by relying on spot trade and pushing forward the development of productive service industry.
