Shanghai Government Delegation at TME for Research and Investigation

The Shanghai government delegation，composed of members from Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Shanghai Municipal Financial Affairs Office, and China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone Administration, conducted a field investigation and research at TME 16 October 2015. Zhang Shaolu, deputy director of Sichuan Provincial Affairs Office, and Liu Angsheng, chairman of TME, met with the guests together.

Chairman Liu introduced the guests basic situation of TME, including its market role, operation mode, and ongoing Shanghai-based rare metal trading center before leaving time for open discussion and view exchange touching on spot trading in bulk commodities and OTC derivatives, financing in supply chain, and innovation in financial service sector.

Deputy director Zhang thanked the Shanghai Municipal Government and the relevant departments of the Shanghai Free Trade Zone for their full support in TME’s business operation in the zone, and expected that the Shanghai Municipal Government continue giving its concern and support to TME, and as well to other Sichuan enterprises in Shanghai.

Finally the delegation gave a brief interpretation of the preferential policies stemming from the free trade zone, and welcomed TME’s establishment of the Shanghai-based rare metal trading center in the free trade zone, and ensured TME of a constant policy support .
