During the visit, Chairman Liu Angsheng reported the Vice Prime Minister Ma Kai on TME, and attended UK-China Bilateral Investment Conference, on which he introduced TME to the guests.
During his stay in Britain, Chairman Liu Angsheng had a meeting with Qin Zhitao (Gerry Grimstone), chairman of the Board of Directors for Financial City of London; carried out a spot investigation of the London Metal Exchange (LME), the Royal Commodity Exchange; paid a visit to local Bank of China, and a business department of Construction Bank of China London Branch; held talks with GM Fang Wenjian from BOC London Branch, assistant GM He Liqin from BOC Paris Branch, Global Regulatory Policy Director Chu Jinming from HSBC, and officials from Deutsche Bank, focusing on the operation process of RMB business overseas and the discussion of trade and investment in international commodities.
