Wood is the material which forms the trunks and branches of trees.
Log or saw timber refers to felled trees,which can be used as manufacturing objects for construction purpose after preliminary processing.Log or saw timber is generally classified in accordance with tree species,and divided into softwood (i.e. spruce, fir, pine, larch, cerda) and hardwood (such as oak, manchurian ash, camphor, sassafras, birch, phoebe zhennan, asp).
Quality requirements:
1)Russian Standard:Гост 9463-88,1-2；9462-88, 1-2；22298-76,1-2；
2)Chinese Standard: GB/T 143-2006
