Hot Plain Bar(HPB)

HPB refers to hot-rolled round steel with a diameter about 5-22mm or deformed steel equivalent to the same section as that of hot-rolled round steel. Being delivered in form of wire rod, it is also commonly called wire rods too. The section perimeter of HPB is quite small, thus the commonly used ones are 5-13mm in diameter. According to different rolling mills adopted in application, they are divided into two categories : one is named high-speed HPB while the other commonly used HPB.
