A Featured Produce Trading Center by TME and Korla Government

A signing ceremony in favor of a featured agricultural product trading center to be established by the Korla government and TME was held in the city of Korla (capital of Bayin'gholin Mongol Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang ) on May 31, 2016. Representing the local government and TME respectively, Zhang Chunsheng, deputy mayor of Korla, and Liu Angsheng, chairman of TME, signed a framework agreemen for strategic cooperation at the ceremony.
Present at the signing ceremony are other local top leaders and responsible staffs.
Acting as a distribution center and an important transportation hub, Korla is located in the middle of ancient Silk Road. Furthermore, Korla is remarkable for abundant natural and agricultural resources, such as fragrant pear, melon and fruit, cotton, tomato, and as well red flowers. Therefore, establishment of a trading center dealing with the featured produce in Korla will be of great help to optimizing and upgrading of local industrial structure, and to a rapid economic and social development at the same time.
